If you’re wondering how to connect your Nuvio Recovery Chiller to the Nuvio App, don’t worry! We’ll walk you through the steps to get everything set up and running in no time.
Step 1: Check Wi-Fi Compatibility
The Nuvio App only supports Wi-Fi networks operating on the 2.4 GHz frequency band.
Before connecting, make sure your home Wi-Fi is set to 2.4 GHz, not 5 GHz. Many routers broadcast both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. You can usually select the 2.4 GHz network in your Wi-Fi list, it may have “2G” or “2.4G” in the name.
Note: The Wi-Fi icon on your chiller’s display will remain off until the app connection is complete. Once successfully connected, the icon will appear next to the snowflake symbol.
Step 2: Connect Your Chiller in the Nuvio App
Download the Nuvio App from your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and create an account.
Enable Bluetooth on your phone and ensure the Nuvio App has Bluetooth permissions.
Open the app and tap “Add Equipment” or the “+” icon to start the Bluetooth device search.
When your chiller appears, tap the Device ID to connect — the Wi-Fi icon on your display will start blinking.
Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your password.
Tap “Next” to finalize the connection.
Once connected, you’ll see the control screen activate, and the Wi-Fi icon will stay lit.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
If you’ve followed all the steps but your chiller still isn’t connecting:
Double-check that you’re connected to a 2.4 GHz network.
Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth and location services are enabled.
Restart both your chiller and the Nuvio App before retrying.
