Your Nuvio Recovery Chiller is designed with built-in safety alerts to protect both the unit and the user. Below you’ll find explanations of common error messages and steps to resolve them quickly.
HH Error: High Water Temperature Warning
What It Means:
The “HH” error indicates that the water temperature is too high inside the chiller. This can happen if warm or hot water has been added to the system or if the chiller has been operating in a very warm environment.
What to Do:
-
Turn off the chiller and switch on the pump to circulate the water in the tank for 2–5 minutes.
This helps balance the temperature throughout the system.
For faster cooling, you can add some ice to the water or use our Refillable Ice Packs.
After circulation, turn the chiller back on. In many cases, this will clear the HH error automatically.
If the issue persists, try adjusting the P3 mode to -9.9 to improve temperature calibration.
💡 Tip: Always fill your pod with regular tap water and avoid adding warm water directly.
EE Error: Low Temperature Alarm
What It Means:
The “EE” error occurs when the water pump is not turned on, preventing circulation. Without proper flow, the water inside the chiller can become too cold, triggering a low temperature warning.
What to Do:
Turn off the chiller.
-
Switch on the pump and let it circulate the water in the tank for 2–5 minutes.
This will help stabilize water flow and prevent freezing.
Turn the chiller back on after circulation. The EE message should disappear.
If the error persists:
Check that the pump’s power switch is turned on.
Verify that water is flowing normally through the outlet hose.
If there’s no flow, the pump may not be functioning properly, please contact our support team for assistance.
