Your Nuvio Recovery Chiller is designed to work seamlessly with a variety of water setups: whether it’s a pod, barrel, bathtub, or trough. It offers flexible connection options so you can customize your recovery setup to your needs.
Standard Setup (Recommended)
When using your Nuvio Chiller with a Nuvio Pod, simply:
- Place the water tubes directly into the water (no valves needed).
- Ensure that the pump hose is fully submerged in the water for proper circulation.
- This setup is the easiest and most common method, providing consistent cooling and efficient performance.
Optional Setup (Using One Valve)
If you’d like to improve water flow or prefer a more secure connection:
- You can connect one of the chiller’s water tubes to one valve on your pod.
- Open the valve to allow continuous water circulation.
- The pump hose must still remain submerged inside the pod at all times.
Note: Only one valve should be used in this configuration. Using both valves is not required for Nuvio setups.
Why There Are Two Valves
The Nuvio Pod includes two valves to maintain compatibility with a wide range of chillers available on the market. Some third-party chillers require direct plumbing connections for water flow, the dual-valve design ensures users can connect alternative systems if needed.
For Nuvio’s own chillers, direct hose placement is typically the best and simplest approach.
